Why Local Businesses Lose on Social Media (And How to Stop)
Most local brands post inconsistently, use low-quality visuals, and have no clear narrative. The fix isn't more content — it's a system.
Read ArticleAI doesn't replace creative judgment — it removes the bottlenecks around it. Here are the specific tools and workflows we use.
There's a lot of noise about AI replacing creative work. That's not what's happening — at least not in content production. What AI is actually doing is removing the bottlenecks around creative work: research, scripting, captioning, repurposing, scheduling. The creative judgment — what to shoot, how to frame it, what story to tell — still requires a human.
Here's exactly how we use AI in our production workflow, and where we don't.
Before every shoot, we use AI to generate a brief: what's performing in the client's category, what hooks are working, what questions their audience is asking. This takes 20 minutes instead of 2 hours. The output isn't final — it's a starting point that we filter through our own judgment and the client's brand voice.
We use AI to generate first drafts of captions, then edit them for voice and specificity. The AI gets us 70% of the way there. The remaining 30% — the specific detail, the brand personality, the local reference — is what makes the caption actually good. AI-generated captions that aren't edited are obvious and generic. Edited ones are fast and effective.
A single piece of content — a 60-second reel — can become a blog post, three static posts, a story sequence, and an email. AI handles the reformatting. We handle the quality check. This is where the 40% time savings comes from: not in the creation, but in the distribution.
Anything that requires genuine creative judgment: shot selection, color grading, narrative structure, brand strategy. AI can suggest; it can't decide. The moment you let AI make creative decisions without human oversight, the work becomes generic — and generic doesn't convert.
